Here’s a quick preview of what we are building and why we are passionate about Goodsales:
Over the years, we’ve seen sales teams being flooded with offers of “must-have” tools for contact management, email marketing, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and the like. Every new trend is accompanied by yet more offerings. Recently it’s been all about social networking and … Ka-Ching … yet another set of products for you to buy. Here’s a great article by Teresa Boardman who wrote about this tool-mania from an agent’s perspective.
We think it’s time sales software got a bit simpler again. That is why our first version will be all about making basic sales tools more attractive for the individual sales person.
- Effortlessly capture leads from all kinds of sources into a central place so you need less time to respond and manage your follow-ups
- Manage your network of contacts from a single spot and fully linked to major social platforms. You see we’re a bit fancy too, in some places…
- Speed up your deals using customizable checklists and action plans that make sure you don’t skip a beat.
- Track your activities and follow-ups to free your mind (Getting Things Done style) so you can focus on your most important asset: the client.
You’ve heard these before? Me too. But why are there so many unhappy users, as pointed out by Drew Meyers who is asking Will Someone Please Solve the CRM Problem in 2011(http://www.geekestateblog.com/will-someone-please-solve-the-crm-problem-in-2011/)? I cannot agree more, and we promise to try our best to provide a proper solution!
Bottom line: if you’re open to use software to boost your sales, but haven’t figured out your ideal solution yet, stay tuned for more!
This looks like just what we agents need to produce more and with more efficiency!
Adam, that’s good to hear! And many agents think exactly the same. We’ve spoken to hundreds of agents in the past couple of years and most of them agree there’s a vacant spot for a truly simple CRM that really works well from both agent and agency / broker perspective. We’ll keep you posted as we prepare for our launch!
Mike,
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of Agent CRM tools out there. What makes GoodSales that much better? It seems as though the product is just reinventing the wheel, and calling it something else.
John
Hi John,
I agree there are plenty of tools and even as a vendor we haven’t nearly seen all of them yet. In my opinion, the question to ask is, why are so many agents still of the opinion the CRM problem is not solved?
Check, for example, this blog post by Drew Meyers:
http://www.geekestateblog.com/will-someone-please-solve-the-crm-problem-in-2011/ Imho, it’s been the same in many other categories of software. Thousands of products exist for a long time and yet, suddenly there’s a new kid on the block and everybody loves it. That’s what we hope to be! But of course we will reveal more details soon so you can try it out and decide for yourself.
This sounds refreshing. I’d like to reduce piecing together systems from various coaching programs; as you state, there is a disconnect between individual agent needs and the solutions provided to us by our Brokers.
Hi Marian, we’ll do our best to live up to this challenge. Our roadmap reaches from classic contact management to tasks and follow ups, tracking deals with integration of electronic signature and many more. Please register for the closed beta. We are really looking forward to your feedback!
Nice blog, keep it going!
